Data and Statistics gathering

Australia Post approached Stock Software for the development of a data and statistics gathering system. They wanted a system that could collect nightly data from 500 mail centres around Australia. The final product was to be developed within 7 working days.

After requirements analysis we set up a simple web server and the database connections they required. We wrote a small Java Servlet to authenticate users, collect the data and store it in their database.

The first prototype was complete in four days with the final version being delivered in seven.
