Client: DNRE: Strategic Planning

In June 2001 the Strategic Planning Branch of DNRE contracted Stock Software to develop an educational game titled FireBoss.

The budget was fixed and the game was to be delivered in time for the Great Australian Science Show on the 23rd of August - 8 weeks away.

The functionality within the game was left completely to Stock Software to determine within a brief outline of the educational goals.

Within the time available Stock Software determined the specifications for the game, produced and tested and released the game [1,2,4].

The game was presented at the science show where it proved to be a big success. Within Fire Management Branch the game has become well known and is being considered for further development to enable its release to schools across the state.
